COOPER, Harold (Harry) Roy III

Harold (Harry) Roy Cooper III
April 13, 1990 – November 08, 2022

It is with crushing sadness that we must accept that our precious Harold’s light must now shine from above. You loved us like a lion with a heart of a dove.

Harold is survived by his mother Reine Cooper (Goggin) and his father, Harold (Hal) Roy Cooper Jr; his mighty brothers Brandon and Cole in whom he was so proud; his sweet sisters in law Autumn (baby Rose) and Jera. Harold is also survived by his beautiful daughter Chloe Walker Cooper, whom will need our loving support during this time. He is also survived by a broken-hearted Uncle Doug.

Harold is the grandson of the late Harold Roy Cooper Sr; the late Harold Stephenson. Gloria Cooper and Judy Cartlidge are Harold’s grandmothers to whom he brought much joy and will be sorely missed by them.
All of Harold’s cousins, aunts, uncles and second cousins to include the Turyks, Cartlidges, Lewis’s and Coopers, we thank you for loving Harold.

Harold was a peacemaker, a helper, and a comforter. He was an anchor of love to all the downtrodden; Harold shone his light brightly while he was with us. He would want his love of others to continue to shine just as bright in our hearts and every time we help one another know that Harold is with us.

We invite you to celebrate the gift of Harold on Sunday November 20th, 2022, at 3:00PM, the memorial will take place in the amenity room at 655-Watt Blvd SW in the community of Southern Springs, Edmonton AB.

Your character, your personality , we’re very captivating to say the least! Many who would have know you would understand that. No matter what you have been through or were going through. You always made time to reach out and help others when they needed it. I will always value our friendship and remember the great times we had together over the years. You will be deeply missed by many my friend!

Reine, Hal, Brandon, Cole and Chloe:

Harry would always bring everyone single one of you up when we chatted. He was always excited to share stories about you and all the new things that were going on in your life at the time. He had his Family that he loved so much! And his Faith!

To you all, My deepest condolences. You and Harry are in my prayers!

My Bestest friend ever. and my HERO

Harry and I met in a time when we both needed support.
I had a place. that was temporary, during fall as the cold winter days came quick. I gave Harry a place. all I ask was for him to keep me safe. Harry did way more then that. but thro the following years, we would spend some night together talking away and keeping each other warm. he even took me to Denny’s on my 27th birthday.. He found me sitting downtown by my self crying. he knew it was my birthday.. n with out even reminding him. he gave me a big hug. n said lets go where going for breakfast at 11pm .lolz
i had the biggest crush on Harry. and we dated for 2 weeks but all the ppl we associated our selves with didn’t like us being together. Me and Harry made a pack to never let our friendship end.. so when we see each other after that day.. we would always be looking at each other like Jr .high kids.. laughing and just reading each others energy.. made ppl wonder what was so funny. . but Harry is very loving.. He spoke about his little gurl to me which i know he doesn’t tell just anyone… Harry had such a big heart he was sensitive to curtain topics. Harry had a wise soul and love to do some pretty out of the box things that would surprise almost anyone.. i give my condolences to Reine (Mom) and his Brothers and sister and daughter cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandparents. Reine Husband, friends. I haven’t stop praying. and asking the creator to please give my energy as strength and healing to Reine and family. amen

this is a Ojibwe pray. for healing

I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still – I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not think of me as gone –
I am with you still – in each new dawn.

it was heartbreaking to read about your loss. Harold seemed to be such a fine young man. My heart goes out to your family as I too lost my 33 year old so who died unexpectedly. Jonathan & Harold seemed to be a bird of a feather. God called my son and all we can do is be thankful for the years we had Jon in our lives and Harold on yours.
God bless your family
