Ms. Fossen – I think we were all surprised by Mum’s large circle of friends and she was a faithful correspondent to many. Curling was definitely one of her passions. She will be missed by many. Thank you for the kind words. Dave, Phil & Craig

David, Philip & Craig and families, very sad to see the obituary of your mother’s passing. I worked with Clara many years ago and enjoyed that time with her very much. Both she and I were avid curling people and we continued our email chats about the games. I was so happy when she was able to get to any of the curling. I had received an email from her not that long ago when we had a little chat. I will miss those. Just remember that your mother was the kindest woman I ever knew and would give the shirt off her back to ensure that you boys had the best that she could give. God bless all of you. I am sure that she is watching over you.

We shared a trip to Nashville in the most recent year but we have known each other since 1987.when i moved in across the hall with my children and a boarder. We have kept in contact by email since the time when Clara could not hear a phone conversation .I hope the family will treasure her memory as the independent, determined lady she was who also had a great sense of humour
