KAMBOUROFF, Charles Joseph
September 11, 1932 – December 15, 2014
Charles (Chuck) Kambouroff passed away on Monday, December 15 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Chuck is survived and mourned by his sisters, Suzanne Burke, Yvette Hohendorff, Liz Eastcott (Don), Bernadette Gordon (Lew), 25 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also mourned by Kirk, Kyle, and Scott Hagen of Scottsdale AZ. Chuck was predeceased by his wives Gloria and Helen, his parents Ernestine and Marin, his brother Rene (Delores), his sisters Marg Milne (Bob), and Georgette Thibault (Gerard).
From the age of sixteen Chuck had many adventures and careers, including sales with GMC in Edmonton, owning and operating with his brother Rene the Kamber Lodge in 100 Mile House BC and a boating and Skidoo dealership in Kamloops BC. He lived in Scottsdale for 31 years and was a successful realtor before returning to Edmonton in 2008.
Chuck loved to spoil his nieces and nephews. He loved his dogs and his great joy was working with horses.
There will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society Edmonton, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton AB, T5H 4K1, would be appreciated.
