Chantel Leanne Schock

-

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, auntie and niece.

Chantel, a single mom, leaves behind three wonderful children: Hailey (16), Ryleigh (11) and Jordan (11). These kids were her anchor, her strength, her support and her life. Her parents Gordon and Cathy Schock, sister Shauna (Thomas), nephew Kai and niece Emma will miss her deeply. Chantel was predeceased by her grandmothers Alice Lorraine Kelly and Myrtle Alice Telfer.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 101 McLeod Avenue, Spruce Grove.

In lieu of flowers, we would greatly appreciate donations to a trust fund for her children’s education at TD Bank c/o Shauna Schock or to [email protected]

Chantel welcomed me with open arms when I joined our home group. She was always there when I needed to talk and likewise I was there for her. It breaks my heart that she left so suddenly. Heartfelt sympathies to her family and her beautiful children. Forever in our hearts Chantel, you will be missed. Your friend, Delia xxx

I have so many memories I can share from Jr. High and on through high school. I remember all the fun we had at sleep overs, camp fires, band camp in Banff. Such a horrible tragedy that you left this world far to young. I often think back to you wearing those black overalls you loved. May You rest in Gods arms

I send my deepest condolences to the entire Schock family. Channy was an amazing person and friend. Sharing our younger years, growing into pre-teens and then onto high school. Through all those years there are so many happy memories and one very heart breaking memory. We loved, we laughed and we lost together, although we may have lost touch for a bit it didn’t take long to find each other again. Going to miss your laughter, your zest for crazy, your humor and your tender loving shoulder and ear. I am consoled knowing that Shawna (Spud) has company, together the both of you will watch from above over all the people you love. R.I.P my friend, till we meet again.
