Sierra Bailey Rain Chalifoux-Thompson, 13 of High Prairie, AB died unexpectedly on October 2, 2020. While residing In Edmonton, AB with her mother & siblings. Her loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Sierra was born to Angela & Ryan Thompson in Grande Prairie, AB. Sierra attended Gr.8 at Cardinal Ledger Jr High and was passionate about Art.
She recently graduated from Babysitting Safety Course with her Big Sister Fayden and they were ready to make the big bucks, babysitting their many little cousins (as long as pampers were not involved).
Sierra aka CeCe or Brownie enjoyed learning to build bikes with her Dads, skateboarding, and listening to music.
Anyone who knew Sierra, knew that she was kind, loving, caring, full of spunk, protective, funny, and outgoing. She had an immense passion for drawing and was always a source of positivity.
Sierra enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She met her bestfriends in the neighborhood she lived in. “CeCe” enjoyed making videos with Fayden, Ashlynn & Abby. When Sierra wasn’t doing these things she was often chilling with her little brothers RJ (Rhyan-James), Kingo (Kingston), Phoniex. She LOVED to boss them around but what big sister wouldn’t
Sierra’s memory will forever be cherished by (Mom) Angela Chalifoux-Thompson, (Step-Dad 2.0) Jessie McDonald, (Bio Dad) Ryan Thompson, Big Sis Fayden, Lil Brothers RJ, Kingo, Phoniex; grandparents George and Cathy Chalifoux, Colleen Hildebrandt; Numerous aunts & uncles: Fran, Nichole, Brittany, Ethan, Denae Chalifoux, Brandon, Ashley, Robbie Chimil, Andrew, Adam Thompson and MANY MANY cousins and close friends. Sierra was predeceased by grandfather Kenneth Chimil and Aunty Tianna Chalifoux.
There will be viewing at Serenity Funeral Service on October 17, 2020 7-9pm, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Ave NW, Edmonton, AB
A Wake will be held in Grouard, AB at Kapaweno Band Hall October 18, 2020, with service to follow on October 19, 2020.
Sierra’s final resting place is to be at High Prairie St. Marks Anglican Cemetery.
