It is with great sadness the family of Cecil Arlidge of Edmonton, announce that Cec has peacefully gone to be with the Lord.

He was predeceased by his parents Bob and Edith, his brother Eric and his sisters Alida and Vera.

He leaves to mourn and miss him, his loving wife of 37 years, Melodie, his son Andrew, his two grandchildren, Archer and Alice and a vast extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 91 Street NW, on Wednesday, September 12 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 14 at Zion Baptist Community Church, 9802 76 Avenue NW at 2:00 pm.

The family would like to express heartfelt appreciation to the Palliative Home Care for their constant support, making this difficult time easier to bear.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Vision, 1 World Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5T 2Y4, https://www.worldvision.ca.

If the dictionary had peoples definition, Cecils would say,,,,, most fair, most forgiving, trustworthy,, totally dedicated to family, Loves the Lord, would do whatever he could, and not just for family but strangers on the street as well. I will miss you and your so very rare qualities. God bes yu and keep you for us, till we meet again
