Carol and Roger`s wedding was a really fun time for me. That was a real love story come true. It`s hard to believe that was already 10 years ago. I feel very sad for Roger and the girls. I can`t say i know how Roger and the girls feel That is totally unimaginable for me.I can say the Bontkes are family to me here in Edmonton since i moved here in 1979. Roger was just a child then.I wish peace for you Roger and the girls. The next few days, weeks and months will be difficult for you and all your family. We all love you and hope that Saturday will indeed be a day to celebrate Carol`s life as short as it was. Best wishes for you Roger and girls as well as all your family and friends. Take care
your cousin,

Carol was a Guardian Angel here on Earth. She saved the day by purchasing a new wedding cake when ours melted in a broken down cooler. She was always Glowing! Positive, Smiling, Laughing, Brightening the World for everyone around her. A very Kind, Gentle Soul. My heart goes out to her beautiful daughters. Ladies, you will hear her voice when you sleep. You will see her radiant smile in your dreams. You reflect her beauty when you look in the mirror. You will hear her laughter in your own. She will comfort you in your sorrow. She will be the touch when you brush your hair from your face. She will become your positive inner voice. You will feel her embraces in the wind. She will forever be in the light of your life. Her Spirit now lies within you. There it will stay, Forever and Always. – LaDonna

Roger & Family,
Words can not express the terrible loss that you must be feeling at this time. I have had the privilege of working with Carol for over 15 years, then came the opportunity for me to bring Carol on Board, & become apart of the Cole Family in December of 2011. I new what type of worker Carol was, and I also new she would not disappoint, and believe me she did not. Carol gave 100 % all the time, her work ethic to the company, to her colleagues and co-workers & most importantly to her clients was Impeccable. Carol always had a smile on her face, and always had a positive attitude, even when she was not feeling well. I fell very Blessed that I was able to Work with Carol, and get to know Carol not only professionally but personally and to call her a Friend. I can tell you she always talked about how proud she was of her Family. Carol will be deeply missed, but I know that she is up in Heaven and when you look into the Sky at night , and see that bright star, know that is Carol saying I am right her.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to you Roger and to the girls. I had the honor of working with Carol at Schenker at the Edmonton airport and and various dealings wit her in the BAX days. Carol had professional business ethics for customers and co-workers, always smiling and ready to help everyone. She is now free of all the pain and suffering that she has endured and is looking down on all of those that she loved and protected. Heaven is the winner in this situation as they have obtained a beautiful loving and caring angel. May time heal the sorrow and the grieving process and may she finally RIP. Love you Carol and all that you did while on this earth for everyone and everything. A true jewel you were.

I remembered Carol when I first met her. She got this big smile on her face and a person with lots of perseverance, always looking forward to something. During lunch hour, we sat in our own vehicles right beside each other and read books while munching away. She would glance a smile once in while and I would see her giggling away while reading. For more than three years (such a short period), I will surely miss those moments.

Roger and girls I am so very sorry, my prayers and thoughts are with you. Carol was such a positive happy person, who never had a negative word to say about anything or anyone. Sitting beside Carol at work here at Cole over the last few years has been a wonderful experience, we have had a few laugh and shed a few tears talking about our families. I will never forget when Carol told me she loved to Ride the motorbike with you Roger, I was so shocked, that this little lady was a biker chic (who would have guessed). I will treasure her memories.

It is with great sadness I am writing with my prayers for all of the families. Carol’s great zest for life and smile effected all of us. I worked with Carol and also with Roger through the years and I will dearly miss her. May the memories you had together keep you strong. Girls your mother spoke of you many times and was very proud of both of you. Roger the Bike rides and Motorhome holidays was something that was also shared. May God newest angel always be in your hearts and mind. Evelyn Bugler (I am unable to attend the service and will be thinking of you all)
