CAROL ANN PIRNAK (née Pringle)

It is with profound sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, Carol Ann Pirnak.  Carol passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on April 7 at the young age of 60 years.

Carol is lovingly remembered by her mother Marjorie Pringle; children Christy (Dave) Davis, Curtis (Amber) Huniak, Ryan Huniak, and Rachelle Huniak; sisters Cindy (Rick) Osborne and Tarrie Pringle; grandsons Gaven Huniak and Lucas Huniak; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Jimmy Pirnak, father William Ross Pringle, and brother Ron Pringle.

Carol had much love for her family and large circle of friends and spent as much time visiting with them over a coffee or beer. She will be fondly remembered for spending time tending to her flowers, camping, caring for others, playing with her grandsons, and living it up where she could. She was the life of the party and will be forever missed.

Carol’s sons and extended family wish to express their sincere gratitude and forever gratefulness to Carol’s daughters, Christy and Rachelle, for being by her side to care for her during her illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s honour may be directly made to your local food bank.

Truely sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. I worked with her at the Van Winkle hotel back in our teen years and we hung around for several years after that with her and my brother Gerald. The last time I seen her I believe was at Christifer’s lounge. My condolences.

We met Carol when we put our daughter into daycare. She was so kind and loving and quickly became a trusted ‘second mom’. I loved morning chats with her. Her candidness was a great start to the day. This is a great loss and she is so missed. Our condolences to her family.
