For many years, John fought a valiant fight, never taking his eyes off the goal. However, on June 1, 2018, John left this world for a better place.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Ruth; daughter Loreen; granddaughter Brielle; daughter-in-law Michelle; granddaughter Kimberley; great granddaughter Khloe; son Malcolm, as well as his three sisters, brother, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
John is predeceased by his parents; son Vernon, and son-in-law Albert.
A Funeral Service for John will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, June 8, 2018 at the 47th Street Church of God, 5227 47 St, Barrhead, Alberta.

For those that wish to pay their respects of John and family, a Visitation will be held an hour prior to the Funeral Service starting.
