Brian Patrick Shields

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Brian Shields at his home on February 19th, 2019 at the age of 88.

He will be lovingly remembered by his step children Wendy Wig, Craig (Wendy) Wynn, Karen Wynn (Andrew Allan), 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, Sister-In-Law Louise Shields, Niece Maureen Shields (Hal Henningsmoen), Nephew Brian Shields, and Niece Diane Shields Morrison (Brad Morrision).

Brian was predeceased by his wife Jean and his Brother Robert (Bob).

Brian was a very well read, intelligent, knowledgeable man. He was looked up to and respected by all who knew him. Brian continued to school himself by taking online courses up until his death. He never wanted to stop learning. Brian was very diligent in his care for Jean after she was hospitalized. There was not many days that he missed seeing Mom. Brian was determined that he wanted to remain in his home and he was able to fulfil that.

Brian we will miss you. We thank you for all you did for Mom and us over the many years we have all been together.

At Brian’s request there will not be a service. Brian has been cremated and his remains will be spread with his wife Jean’s at a later date.

Sorry, there are no details found...

Delores & Ken Reynolds

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Brian.
You, Jean’s family, have written a wonderful tribute to Brian, a wonderful gentleman.
Our family was very fortunate to have had such wonderful neighbors in Brian and your mom Jean, they both had such a zeal for life.
Ken and I have many fond memories of time spent with Jean and Brian, in our back yards, in each other’s home enjoying happy hour, or a dinner prepared at home or out for dinner.
We are richer for having known such a beautiful couple.
Rest In Peace Brian as you are once again with Jean, you soulmate.

We have lots memories of Brian
All the lunches he made Jean and me as we worked in the basement on our many crafts.
His love for classical music that was always on.
His Christmas decoration of most everything in the house.
The hard work he did keeping up the flower pots and the yard when Jean could no longer do it.
A pleasure knowing were a. Real gentleman.
You will be missed
