Violet was a very dear friend and neighbor for many years. Violet and I enjoyed many cups of tea, coffee, and wonderful homeade goodies while we shared news of our families and other interesting tidbits. She was the sweetest lady and cared deeply about my family and her family.
I missed her very much once she moved to Rosedale on Ellerslie Road. I visited her for tea a few more times and then came a point of time she did not remember who I was.
I did not realise she had moved to Devonshire because I had lost contact with her and her wonderful daughters as I did not have their telephone information.
I was very sad to see her obituary but I know God wrapped his arms around her and took her home to join her other family members who had gone before her.
I will always remember her kindness and many hugs given to me. I have so many dear memories of Violet from the past of almost forty years.
I would be so very happy if Doreen or Arlene would call me with some information so that I can visit her graveside in the next few weeks.
I know that you have wonderful memories of your mom and that you will treasure these very much.
With love , Diane⚘

It has been a privilege knowing Violet over the years since we moved to Edmonton and attended Greenfield Church. It was my privilege to be in a ladies Bible Study with her for many years. Our church family has prayed for her and our other shut-ins in our congregational prayers during our on-line services. May the family find comfort in knowing that her faith has found its fulfillment in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Sincerely, Verna Peter.
