It is with broken hearts and profound sorrow that we must announce the passing of our precious, beloved and wonderful Mother, Helen Boyson. On March 10, 2021, Helen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Helen was predeceased by her loving spouse, Joe Supple of 46 years, parents, Nick and Christine, sister Mary and brother Paul. Those left to mourn are her daughters, Joelene Schamehorn (Dustin) and Jennifer Eaglesham (Aaron); siblings, Metro (Shirley), John (Liz), Nettie (Orest), Bill (Sandra), Russell (Tish), Steve (Cheryl), Mike (Elaine); Grandchildren Adora, Lincoln, Gabriel and Theodore; sister-in-law, Gina and numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was born in Kelvington, SK and grew up on the family farm in Kinloch, SK. She later moved back to Kelvington and then Edmonton where she met the love of her life and eventually settled in Fort Saskatchewan. Helen loved her career in banking and spent over 40 years working for the Credit Union. She was greatly loved by her coworkers and clients for her dedication, compassion and natural way of making people feel at ease. After she retired, she was able to spend more time doing her favorite things like gardening, painting, going on outings with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Her entire world revolved around her family to whom she brought so much love, joy, comfort and happiness. Her passing has left us with a void that can never be filled. Words cannot possibly express how much she will be missed.
A private ceremony for immediate family will be held on Friday March 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. and can be seen via livestream at the following link: https://distantlink.com/SerenitySG.html
