Sadly, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, friend Lorraine Solange Marie Boychuk (nee Blanchette), age 78 on April 15, 2018 at Copper Sky Lodge, Spruce Grove, Alberta. Family and friends were Lorraine’s passion and delight. She loved to spend time with them, laughing, dancing, shopping, and cooking.
Lorraine is predeceased by her parents Phillipe & Emilienne, brother Isadore & sister Estelle, and husbands Nick & Frank. Lorraine is survived by her siblings (& spouses), Marie (Wally), Rachel (Bernie), Leon (Shirley), Louise (Barry) & Diane (Art), her children (& spouses), Leonard (Jeanie), Tim (Donna), Carrie (Randy), Susan (Rob) & Candace (Trevor), 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and her husband and devoted companion Bob. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
The family wishes to say a thank you to Copper Sky Lodge and all of those who cared for her during her last few months, and a very special thank you to Joanne & Joanie for their care & devotion during the past year.
Celebration of Life to take place 1:00 PM, May 19, 2018, at the Heritage Pavilion, 5100 41 Avenue, Stony Plain, Alberta.
Memorial donations made in honor of Lorraine may be made to Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, Box 3045
Athabasca, AB T9S 2B9. Or through the Alberta Treasury Branch (ATB) that will contribute 15% more of the dollar amount.
