On the evening of Thursday, February 16, 2017, Mrs. Bonita Marion Jabs, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away at Good Samaritan Pembina Village, Evansburg at the age of 85 years. Together with her husband, Bernard, Bonnie raised five children and did whatever needed to be done on the family farm. Bonnie loved the farm life and anything that could get her outdoors, especially her flower gardens. More than anything, Bonnie loved her family – she always worried about them and made sure to always check in with them- Bonnie will forever be lovingly remembered by her children, Randy Jabs, David (Kathy) Jabs and Diana Jabs; daughter-in-law, Debra Jabs; 13 grandchildren, Kim Ohmann, Carma Jabs, Cora Emberly, Cassandra Jabs, Justin Jabs, Jared Jabs, Shae-Lynn Jabs, Trisha Jabs, Ryan Jabs, Travis Jabs, Taylor Jabs, Aaron Jabs and Sara Jabs; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter and her sisters, Audrey (Arnie) Bryant and Juanita (Marvin) Williams. She will also be missed by several extended family and friends. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Jabs in 2009; sons, Vernon Jabs in 2008 and Charlie Jabs in 2011; parents, Earl and Leona Floden and brothers, Earl Floden, Ronald Floden and Wayne Floden. Many thanks go to all the staff at Pembina Village and Dr. Murphy for the exceptional care provided to Bonnie during her stay – it was a comfort to know she was so well taken care of.
