Bernice Friedenberg of Leduc, AB passed away on June 9th, 2019 in Edmonton with her family by her side.
Bernice was born in Edmonton, in 1941, to Edward and Diana Bilsborrow. She lived in Leduc her entire life where she touched many lives. She will be greatly missed but always remembered.
Bernice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Douglas Robbins, stepdaughter Corey (George) Zeise, grandchildren, Cheylyn (Andrew) Nemeth, Christopher Robbins, Leslie (Sam) Zeise, great grandson, Adam Nemeth, brothers and sisters, Maurice (BettyAnne) Bilsborrow, Richard (Pat) Paradis, Carolyn Mclean-Roberge, Donald Bilsborrow, nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.
Bernice is preceded in death by the love of her life, Daniel Big Charles, her parents Edward and Diana Bilsborrow and her sister Deloris Cruden.
The Memorial Service will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 5105 – 45A Street, Leduc, AB on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Internment and luncheon to follow.
A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at the U of A Hospital in the ICU-C for all your kindness and respect to Bernice and also to the Mulhurst Fire Department, EMT’s and son-in-law Doug that gave her a fighting chance.
