Berg, Marie
June 22, 1927 – October 23, 2020
On October 23, 2020, our courageous and beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 93.
She is lovingly remembered by her family, Ann, John (Terry), Murray (Laura), Tammy, Kelly (Robin); grandchildren Dylan (Stephanie), Nathan (Holly), Zachary (Lindsay), Kathleen, Cory, Reed, Josie, Fireese, Hartford; two great grandchildren, and brother Nick (Rose). Marie was predeceased by her sister Ann, and brothers Steve and John.
She raised five children on her own. She worked for the Sturgeon hospital for many years. She was a bright light in the cafeteria. She relied on her faith to help her through many difficult times. Her church family was very important to Marie.
The family gratefully acknowledges the care received from the hard-working staff at The Citadel Nursing Home in St. Albert.

John, Terry and family,
We want to send you our deepest sympathy at this time of the loss of your dear Mum and Grandma. She was such a nice lady, and for many years I would run into her out and about in St. Albert and we would have lovely little chats together.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers now and in the days ahead, and may you know God’s peace, strength and comfort in a real way!
