Beatrice Lillie Johnson (nee Lehman)

Beatrice was born in Forestburg, Alberta.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Johnson and her youngest daughter, Cheryl Ann Beatrice Johnson.

Her family left behind is: daughter Dyllis Walters, son-in-law Wayne Walters, granddaughter Kristy Uitvlugt and her husband Peter Uitvlught, and great grandson Zachary William Uitvlught.

Bea moved to Calgary to work as a waitress at age 18. Then she moved to Edmonton to work at The Bay. Then she moved to Camrose where she owned her own hosiery repair business.

She married Lloyd Johnson on October 29, 1949. Their farm was located one mile west of New Norway. Dyllis and Cheryl Ann completed their family.

Beatrice enjoyed cooking and hosting large family gatherings, sewing, gardening both vegetables and flowers, cake decorating, flower arranging, taking pictures and creating picture albums, rug hooking and knitting.

After Lloyd passed away, she moved to Edmonton in January 1972 and worked as a florist at Woodwards.  She was actively involved at Edmonton Central Pentecostal Tabernacle. Her love for missions was always strong.

A favourite song was: What a Day that Will Be When My Jesus I Shall See. That day now has a date – June 1, 2018. We all know she had longed for that day for many years.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 91 Street NW, from 6:30 pm – 8:30pm.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
