Dr. Austin John Robert Quaye was born in Winneba, Gold Coast (Ghana) on June 09, 1941.
He passed away on June 18, 2013 at the age of 72, at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
The funeral was held at the West Edmonton Seventh-Day Adventist Church, on Sunday June 30th at 1:00 PM (9949 – 149 Street NW, Edmonton)

I often think of Austin, especially when discussions about injuries occur. He was very good at fixing broken bones and other work related injuries. He mended broken bones and major lacerations on me from sawmills accidents from the late 1970s through the 1980s, and he did an excellent job each time, for which I’m still grateful.
