It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of Audrey Jeanette Murray, who died gently but unexpectedly at home on March 15, 2018. She is survived by twins Cynthia (Tim Bartz) and Beth Peterson, and her son Mark Peterson. She is survived by her siblings Lois (Bruce)Waara, Ruth Nelson and Lorne Smart. She has several grandchildren, Kelly, Sarah, Hayley and Amy and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by brother Hugh, and her husband Verne Murray .

Audrey was a manager in Home Care for many years and had many wonderful friends in hiking, writing and quilting groups, She enjoyed photography, art galleries, theater, jazz and throwing sticks into the water for her beloved black lab Rocky.

Funeral Services will be held March 26, 2018, at noon, at Red Deer Lake United Church south of Calgary.

Check website for driving instructions. Cremation has occurred, Private burial. In lieu of flowers, please consider a charity of your choosing.

Audrey was feisty and funny, curious and creative, opinionated and yet, open-minded. We were never at a loss for things to talk about. I will miss her spirited company. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends.
