Armstrong, Anita

Anita Armstrong

May 1932  —-  July 2021

At midmorning on Thursday, July 29 2021, Anita died suddenly, unexpectedly but peacefully for which we are grateful.  In shock, those grieving for her deeply are her husband, Ted and sons, Richard and Chris. However, with this news, others from the OLA Parish, Beta Sigma Phi and the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary will remember her.

Throughout her life Anita met people easily and over the past 50 years has befriended many in Fort Saskatchewan who will share our sadness.

Cremation has taken place and discussion begins on the Celebration of her life.

Meanwhile, have a kind thought of her or perhaps, a prayer for the repose of her soul.

Our thoughts and prayers to the Armstrong family. I had met Mrs. Armstrong when I was a child in school. As an adult she always had time to chat while she volunteered at the hospital gift shop. I will miss her warmth and kindness, I count myself lucky to have known her.

Ted, my sincere thoughts and prayers for you and your family. I will always remember Anita’s cheery disposition and the quiet, discreet but effective presence the 2 of you always reflected in our parish community. I will cherish the friendship both of you shared with myself and my family. Take care.
