It is with sadness that the family of Anne Cherrington, formerly of Moon Lake, announce her passing. Anne passed away at her home on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are her three children, Brian (Brenda), Darlene (Brian) Dickson and Darren; 7 grandchildren, Lonnie Vuckovic, Craig Dickson, Lesley (Brad) Noble, Kailee Falkenberg, Bradley Cherrington, Matthew Cherrington and Sarah Cherrington; 3 great-grandchildren, Breanna Vuckovic, Everlee Wollen and Sailor-Grae Vuckovic, and her sister, Mary Edwards. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Cherrington; parents, John and Helena Urkevich; siblings, Bill Urkevich, Nick Urkevich, Mike Urkevich, Lena Kobylka and Violet Lang. Anne’s legacy of family, kindness, laughter and love will continue in the hearts of many family and friends. Anne’s life will be celebrated at Moon Lake Community Hall on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Brightwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions in honour of Anne may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
