Kim’s courageous battle with cancer ended at home in New Sarepta on May 26, 2020. With her family by her side, she stepped into heaven to be with her Saviour at the young age of 52. Kim’s family, faith, and firm belief in God gave her the courage to fight for so long. She found comfort and peace in her final days knowing she would be free from her pain with Jesus for eternity. We now find our comfort and peace knowing Kim is running, dancing, gardening, and rejoicing in heaven as she waits to be reunited with her family again one day.
Our strong and beautiful Kim will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 31 years, Roger Anger; daughter, Amber (Matt) Fried; sons, Carson and Colton (Madison) Anger; and grandson, Parker Fried. Kim also leaves behind her parents, John and Sylvia Keeper; sister, Tracey (Donald and Joshua) Johnston; brothers, Trevor (Sharon, Brian, and Stephanie) and Trent (Randi and Jackson) Keeper; mother-in-law, Noreen Anger; brother-in-law, David (Maryann, Clarke, Haley and Laura) Anger; as well as many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and an endless number of friends.
Kim was predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandparents – including her very special grandmother, Florence Ikert; her father-in-law, Bill Anger; her nephews, Noah and Merrick Keeper; and the precious little baby she and Roger lost many years ago.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to all those who have prayed for and supported Kim in countless ways over the last five years, and who are continuing to do the same for us now.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held to honour and remember Kim’s life. When restrictions are lifted and we are able to be together, a public memorial will be held in the future for everyone to come and celebrate Kim.
In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully asks that donations be made in Kim’s name with the memo “In Memory of Kim Anger” to Echo Lake Bible Camp (Fort Qu’Appelle, SK) by e-transfer to [email protected] or by cheque to Box 2174, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK S0G 1S0. Donations may also be made in Kim’s name to the Cross Cancer Institute.
