Andrew James Manson

Our family is deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of our brother Andrew on June 1, 2019 in Edmonton.

Born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba, Andrew was the third child of Alexander and Mary Manson. Andrew lived most of his adult life in Edmonton working for the federal government. He enjoyed working out, reading and had a special interest in airplanes.

He was predeceased by his parents Alexander (Sandy) Manson in 1971 and Mary Manson (nee Steel) in 2010. He is survived by his brother Hugh and sisters Karen Colbourn, Arlene and Linda and nieces Susie Colbourn (Simon Miles) and Sarah Colbourn.

A Celebration of Life will be held by his immediate family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation

Suzanna Brytan

May he rest in peace! AJ was a quiet, kind soul who kept to himself but always had a gentle, shy smile and a calm countenance. He was a decent human being who worked hard and did not take anything for granted. He was a wonderful resident of St. John’s Institute during my time there as Executive Director, and we are blessed to have had him in our midst. May your heavenly journey be a reward for a life well-lived!
