Allan Donald Wronko


Allan Donald Wronko, retired farmer and life-long Calmar-Leduc resident, passed away on April 3, 2019 at the age of 86 years.

He is survived by his loving family: wife, Doreen (Brown) Wronko; children, Diane (Warren) Johnson, Darrell (Andy), Karen (Blake) and Garnet (Cheri); grandchildren, Quinn Johnson, Mikayla Wronko, Matthew Wronko, Kate Baltare, Jasmine Wronko and Emory Wronko; brother, John (Betty), sister Elaine (Lorne) Taylor, and sister-in-law Glenys Wronko (Everett Broadbent). He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Annie (Woitas) Wronko, brother, Eugene Wronko, and nephew Lorne Wronko.

A funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 50 Street and 51 Avenue, Leduc on Tuesday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Neil Stern officiating.

Special thanks to Pastor Stern for his support and to Dr. Jason Low and the staff at Leduc Community Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted for Leduc Community Hospital Foundation, Kidney Foundation of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of choice.
