After a short battle with cancer we announce the passing of Alice Elizabeth Hawkins (nee Parsons) at the age of 74 years.
She was predeceased by her father Alfred Parsons, brother-in-law Brian Spinney and son-in-law Wladamir Quinteros. Alice is lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years Walter Hawkins, mother Patricia Parsons, daughters: Diane Quinteros (Gregg), Lynn Hawkins, Sharon (Wilbert) Rice and Shirley (Don) Kelly, grandchildren: Tamara Quinteros, Andrew Quinteros, Jay Kelly, Fallon Kelly, Shania Rice and Cody Rice, great grandson Jacob Kelly, siblings: Martin (Margaret) Parsons, David (Martina) Parsons, Bern (Annie) Parsons, Oliver Spinney, Linda (Hans) Parsons, Elaine (Byron) Herbert, William (Francis) Parsons, Gerry (Pamela) Parsons, Wayne Parsons, Jane (Nish) Penton, Phyllis (Bill) Randell, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. You will be forever in our hearts and truly missed.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the Cross Cancer Institute for their care and compassion during this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Alice’s honour.
