Alfred “Fred” LeBlanc, 69 years of age, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home in Edmonton, Alberta.
He is survived by his daughter Natasha LeBlanc; grandchildren: Juliano Bruni-Bossio LeBlanc, Tianna LeBlanc and Amara Quiroz; his 100 year old mother, Delina (Belliveau) LeBlanc; siblings: Diana Chiason, Roger LeBlanc (Gerarda McDonald), Alice (Frank) Donovan, Lena (Fernand) Cary, Louis (Auarelie) LeBlanc, Claudette (Mike) Malone, Lorraine (Leandre) Herbert, Lise (Arnold) Robichaud, Lucille (Normand) Poirier and sister-in-law Annonica LeBlanc.
Fred was predeceased by his father Leo LeBlanc, and his brother Ronald Leblanc.
Fred came from a large family in New Brunswick. He was a loving father and grandfather and was often noted as their “rock”. Fred was known to many as a kind and generous individual, who lived his life.
Fred had a career in the military for 25 years, having travelled parts of the world during that time. Fred was a driver for The Brick for 20 plus years after his military career.
Fred will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Serenity Funeral Service, 10129 – Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.
