Alfred left this world peacefully with his beloved wife by his side after a long courageous battle with Dementia on Friday, @ 1:00 p.m., October 4, 2013 at the age of 89 years at the Cottages in Stony Plain, Alberta.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of fourteen happy years Margaret (Mickey) Dux. Also left to mourn are his three children Anita (Cal), John (Sheila), Randy (Rosemarie), three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, a brother Jim (Rosemary) and many nieces and nephews along with his extended family: Mickey’s three children, seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Johanna.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (5010-52 Avenue) Stony Plain, Alberta with Reverend Tim Posyluzny officiating.
