Aleatha Jean Willson

It is with great sadness, and much love that we say goodbye to Aleatha Jean Willson. She lived in Leduc, AB, at Salem Manor Nursing Home, and passed away peacefully on the eve of Friday, February 19, 2016. She had recently celebrated her 74th birthday.
She is survived by her son Barry (Norma) Willson; grandchildren Aaron and Josie; brothers Marvin (Kay) Cripps and Lorne (Nina) Cripps; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Aleatha was predeceased by her mother Blanche Moyer, father Albert Cripps; and sister Sylvia Almond.
Aleatha had a passion for learning and a creative spark which she expressed beautifully through a variety of arts such as painting, drawing, knitting, crocheting and quilting. There was never a point in her life when she wasn’t engaged in at least one project, creating something lovely and brimming with talent. She was always able to appreciate the awe-inspiring parts of life, in nature and aside, and her ability to empower you to appreciate them was awe-inspiring on its own.
Those who were able to know Aleatha are grateful to have been granted the opportunity to have joined her in their life. Her vigour and kindness emblazoned lasting impressions on the hearts and minds of everyone who met her, and she will be fondly missed and forever remembered.
