It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mom, granny / grandma and GG. Agnes Michaud will be remembered for her great love of and devotion to family and friends.

Agnes leaves to mourn Darryl & Debbie Michaud, Gail & Barry Litun; grandchildren Shawna & Chris McEwen, Justin & Kealy Litun, and Adam Litun & Erin Malia; great grandchildren Aiden & Eliana McEwen and Noah & Everett Litun, sister Pat Hayden, numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband Philip, grandsons Nathan & Travis Michaud, as well as many family members.

The family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Linda Pfeifer, the staff at Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital and the staff at the hospice ward of Norwood Continuing Care for the care and compassion shown to Agnes throughout her illness.

A celebration of life will be held at Our Lady of Angels Roman Catholic Church (10004 – 101 St, Fort Saskatchewan) on Tuesday, August 6 at 11:00 am. Father Dean Dowle will be officiating. Following lunch at Pioneer House (10102 – 100 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan) interment of ashes will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (4602 – 50 Ave, Gibbons).

In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital are sincerely appreciated.

Darryl and Debbie, I am so sorry to hear of Agnes’ passing. She was such an awesome lady, so kind and caring. Just a real special person. She is in the arms of the Angels and will be greatly missed.
