Adeline Mary Guenette

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother Adeline Mary Guenette on July 24th, 2019. She passed away peacefully at home at the age of 84 after her brave battle with cancer. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Donald, her daughter Susan Guenette -Thomsen (Dwaine Thomsen) of Stony Plain, her son Harvey Guenette (Tamara) of Fort Saskatchewan, her daughter Arlene Guenette (Todd Nixon) of Sherwood Park, her son Dale Guenette (Judy Jones) of Fort Saskatchewan, her daughter Cindy Kalbfleisch(Murray) of Lamont, grandchildren Tarl, Tralena, Kris, Dana, Kohl, Dale, Devin, Dallas, Braedon, Austin, Taylor, Brooklyn, Konnor, Matthew & Tony.

Adeline is predeceased by her mother Adele (Granger) Bouchard, father Henry Schafers, and nephews Lonnie Schafers and Darren Schafers.

We wish to thank Dr. Ernest Snyman, Dr. Linda Carter, The Fort Saskatchewan Palliative Care Unit and the palliative care nighttime care givers. With the support of this team we were able to grant Adeline’s wishes to live out her days in the comfort of her home. Donations can be made to The Cross Cancer Institute.

Prayers and memorial service will be held at Our Lady of The Angels Catholic Church 10004-101 Street, Fort Saskatchewan.

Prayers July 31st 7:00 pm, and Memorial Service August 1st 1:00 pm with interment to follow. Reception will be held at the Moyer Recreation Centre in Josephburg Alberta.
