JONES, Christopher Roger Benton
Aug 26, 1937- Aug 26, 2016
Chris was a fascinating man with countless stories to share. He was born in England, and lived in London during the war. Moved to Africa in 1957 and later served in the reserves as a Captain in the Zambian Territorial Army. In 1974 he moved back to Canada where he became a paramedic and eventually retired at the wise and experienced age of 69. Chris left a lasting impression with all whom he met.
He passed away as he lived his life, with conviction and grace.
Chris was predeceased by his parents Bill and Patricia, son Gregory, and stepfather Walter. He will be deeply missed by his wife Cynthia; daughters: Michelle (Andy) and Annette; granddaughters: Kirsten and Nicole and his many other family and friends from both near and far.
An intimate gathering will take place on the evening of Saturday, Sept 24, 2016. For planning purposes if you wish to attend please contact the family at [email protected]
In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Christopher Jones, may be made to the Canadian Catholic Organization of Peace and Development.
