It is with great sadness the family of Phyllis Madeleine Moore announces her passing on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the age of 88.

She is remembered with love by her sisters, Vivian (Doug) Walker, and Donna (George) Findlay; her daughters, Rhonda, Leslie, and Shelley; her sons, John and Terry; and son-in-laws, Alan and Dwayne.

Phyllis will always be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Kiersten, Kaylee, Ashley, Sarah, Sharon, Micah, Austin, and Keenan.

Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Donald Moore; his sister, Betty (Keith) Maxwell; and brother, Ronald (Ellen) Moore.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Edmonton General, Unit 9Y, who cared so much for Phyllis during her time there.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

We had the pleasure of visiting with Phyllis once a month for the last year or two. She was a very sweet, kind and caring woman. She always had a genuine smile and a great story to share. We miss her and would like to extend our condolences to her whole family! What a blessing to have known such a beautiful soul. Rest in peace Phyllis.

Mrs. Moore was part of my ‘village’. I spent countless hours hanging out with Rhonda at their house, and she was never anything but tolerant and kind and interested in my life goings-on. I will miss her at the annual Boxing Day get-togethers.
