May 23, 1958 – July 15, 2016
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Tomicic on July 15, 2016 at the age of 58.
He fought a Courageous battle with Cancer, fighting so hard to stay with the love of his life of 32 years his wife “Rose” by his side.
He leaves behind his dad Peter Tomicic Sr.; his sisters: Anne-Marie Sorenson ….Slim (Ron), Susie Lenarduzzi (Dave) and the late Kay Tomicic (mom) and Tony Tomicic (brother).
Peter was the most amazing, caring, compassionate and loving man you could ever have had the privilege of knowing.
There are no words that can describe the love he had for his wife and 2 dogs.
He would go out of his way to help anyone… The hugs he gave and the memories we have, will forever be in our hearts and never be forgotten. We wish you could have been with us longer, but we are so grateful for the time we had together.
Peter’s last words were to be expressed to “Dr. Michael Chu” CCI (Oncology) for his kindness and support through Peter’s battle with cancer, always taking the time and going over and above his job to be there until the very end. Peter said, you are the “Best Most Amazing Doctor” I could ever have and even a “Better Man”.
We will be forever grateful to Elaine Yeung and Gail Doyle (CCI) for their help, kindness and caring support throughout Peter’s last days.
Monetary donations may be made in Peters name to University of Alberta for Dr. Michael Chu’s Research.
“Honey” My love for you is everlasting, I promise you that, from here to the moon and back…yours forever Rose.
