At Serenity Funeral Service we recognize how serious the outbreak of COVID-19 is and we are taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of our staff, and the families we serve, We are operating as normal with some exceptions:
- We are locking the doors of our facilities and requesting that you call ahead or call once you arrive at the location to gain access.
- We are offering to complete funeral arrangements by phone and email or you may still come into our offices. We will gather as much information as possible prior to your appointment to minimize the amount of time spent in the funeral home. We are restricting the number of people to 2 to make final arrangements.
- If you are sick or have been sick in the last 14 days, had contact with someone who has been sick in the last 14 days or traveled anywhere in the last 14 days we ask that you do not come into our office.
For everyone’s protection we are adhering to the
policy’s of the Public Health Minister, All Government Bodies as well as the
Alberta Funeral Service Association.
Included in these policies is:
No Gatherings of 15 or more people, this includes clergy, funeral home staff and any persons that are not family or friends.
We realize having a funeral service is a vital part of the grief process, and therefore we are encouraging you to consider other options such as private family gatherings of 15 people or less or postponement of the funeral service until restrictions have been lifted.
We will continue to serve families in a manner that is safe and
responsible for everyone involved. If you have any questions or concerns please contact our office.
We are here to help.
