Aftercare

Our interest and care for the families we serve does not end at the funeral or memorial ceremony. We recognize the significant changes and feelings of loss that families experience after the death of a loved one. Therefore, we provide at no charge, a consultation meeting with one of our Licensed Aftercare Counsellors, following the funeral ceremony. An Aftercare session assists each family with the many tasks that need to be completed following the funeral. An Aftercare meeting covers such topics as: applying for the Canada Pension Plan Death Benefits; what to do with bank accounts, insurance and investments, to name a few.
