Klatt, Ronald Calvin
KLATT, Ronald Calvin On August 25, 2010 Ron Klatt of Edmonton passed away suddenly at the age of 62 years. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years Jewell, seven sons; Brian (Lois), Darrell (Jessica), Randy (Miriam), Tim (Donna), Perry (Lisa), Don (Sherri) and Steven (Krystina), twenty-two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ron is also survived by his four sisters and four brothers. Ron was predeceased by father Emil, his mother Matilda and his brother Howard. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 11223–51 Avenue, with Pastor Tim Posyluzny officiating. BORNAU, Werner Karl On August 25, 2010, at the age of 77, Werner Karl Bornau entered into the presence of the Lord surrounded by his family. Werner is survived by his loving wife, Hilde, his seven children and their spouses, seventeen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. BOSTROM, Lillian Olivia (nee DICKSON) August 17, 1914 — August 20, 2010 The family of Lillian Bostrom is deeply saddened to announce her passing on August 20, 2010. Lillian is survived by three children and their spouses, seven grandchildren and their spouses, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and one sister. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Oscar (1954), a great-granddaughter (1993), and a grandson (2008), her parents and eleven siblings. MacKAY, Mark Alexander December 17, 1958 — August 19, 2010 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Mark Alexander MacKay, BSc, MBA, late of Arviat, Nunavut on August 19, 2010 aged 51 years. Mark is survived by his parents Al and June MacKay, brothers Michael, Andrew (Victoria) and David, sisters Ann MacKay-Drobot (Walter) and Carol MacKay, nephews Alan, Brian and Ian, nieces Christina and Melissa. Mark was predeceased by his grandparents in Nova Scotia. Mark spent more than a decade working with the Government of Nunavut. At the time of his passing, he was Director of Adult Learning and Post-Secondary Services for the Department of Education. In addition to his family, he leaves behind many friends and colleagues throughout Nunavut. Mark was a man with a big brain, an even bigger heart and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation and a private family service have taken place. |

Beryl Maygard Fenner passed away on August 24 at the age of 92. Sadly missed by her daughters Colleen Godard (Ken), and Gwynne Young (Gordon), Sister Maxine Schlosser, daughter in-law Barbara Maygard, 12 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren. Elizabeth Hinkel was called home by her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 29, 2010. She leaves to be remembered by sisters-in-law, Irene Hinkel and Adelina Hinkel, all of her nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by brothers Conrad, Henry (Elizabeth), George (Christina) and William. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. We will be meeting you in the bye and bye. George is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lauren, his children; Tina (Rob), John (Stephanie), Danny (Tina), twins Meghan (Don) and Melissa; twelve grandchildren, his mother Berneice Larson, his mother-in-law Jaye Biglow, sisters Debbie, Susan (Paddy), Diane (Robert), brothers Joseph (Carol) and Wayne (Judy); numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends including his special “furry friend”, Mia. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Romain E. D’hont on August 23, 2010 at the age of 79 years. On August 19, 2010, Roger Rene Chabot of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 57 years. He is survived by his sister Irene (Sean); step siblings Armand (Rexi), Denise (Denis), Pricille (Rob), Annette (Will), Rosaire (Linda); nieces Chantal, Michelle (Jean-Francois), Nicole; four great-nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Gerard Chabot, mother Helen Goudreau and step-father Leo Goudreau. Roger was a free spirit, a generous friend and a loving uncle. His carefree manner and inviting smile made him a friend of many, and he will be deeply missed. On August 14, 2010 Joy Pruden of Edmonton passed away at the age of 49 years. On August 17, 2010, Maurice Lamarche passed away suddenly at the age of 62 years. Gracey, John (Jack)
GRACEY, John (Jack) January 12, 1936 — August 18, 2010 With much sorrow we announce the passing of Jack on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years Evelyn (Mary); two daughters: Mary (Randy) Schultz, Teresa (Shane) Cherrington and two grandsons: Anson and Ethan Schultz. Jack was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta to James and Echo (Dangerfield) Gracey. He was raised on a ranch near Manyberries. He later moved to various locations in Alberta working on a seismic crew. He later started his own drilling company in Grande Prairie. He also spent many years working as a truck driver in the Peace Region working for various companies such as Dewitt Paving, Wapiti Sand and Gravel, hauling logs for Canfor. Jack and Evelyn moved to Edmonton in 1999 where Jack began working for Fifth Wheel Truck and Trailer. Jack will be dearly missed by many friends and family members. In keeping with Jack’s wishes there will be no funeral services held but if friends so desire, donations may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association 1400–522 University Avenue, Toronto, ON. | SEMMLER, Siegfried November 8, 1935 — August 16, 2010 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing away of Seigfried Semmler of St. Albert, AB on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 74 years old. Siegfried dedicated 40 years of his life as an employee with the Government of Alberta serving Albertans and serving through the Body of Christ. Seigfried is predeceased by his parents Daniel and Ruth Semmler and his son Nathan Semmler. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Hazel; five children, Daniel (Shelly), Phillip (Debbie), Wilfred (Brenda), Julia, and Matthew (Kristen); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his younger siblings sister Marilyn Betts, brother Gary Semmler, and sister Crista Cote.
