SULLIVAN, Daniel Fredrick

August 13, 1951 — February 5, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Sullivan announces his passing away at 58 years. Daniel is survived by his father Cyril Sullivan of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Brothers Steven (Pam Livingstone) Sullivan, Terrence (Tracey) Sullivan, and sister, Patricia (John) Emmett.Also survived by nephews; Jonathan Emmett, Joel Sullivan, Richard Sullivan, nieces, Kelly Emmett DeCoste, Erin Emmett, Shannon Emmett, Adrienne Sullivan, and great-niece Fiona Emmett and many extended family and friends. Daniel was predeceased by his mother Ruth Sullivan. The family would like to extend a note of appreciation to the Heart Institute for all your care and compassion. To Daniel’s many friends in Edmonton for all your acts of kindness evidenced in thought and deed thank you. A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2010 between 7:00 — 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service (5311 — 91 Street). A celebration honoring Daniel’s life will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia at a later date. Donations in Daniel’s memory may be made to Mazankowski Heart Institute or a charity of one’s choice.

GLANVILLE, George Burton

On February 4, 2010 George Glanville of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 94 years. “Geordie” is lovingly remembered by daughter Carolyn (Derek) Bennett, sons Kim and Gordon, and granddaughter Megan Bennett. George was predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Ada, and sister Janetta Lees. He is also survived by numerous relatives in Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and California, USA. The family offers gratitude to staff at the Jubilee Lodge for 5 years of gentle care. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. SIMMT, George

On February 3, 2010, George Simmt passed away at the age of 84. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ruth, his children Sylvia (Willi) Mentz and Michael (Elaine) Simmt, and his grandchildren Lisa, Peter (Leah), Amy, Kevin and Darrel. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 8th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 10759 — 96 Street. Donations in George’s memory can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or the Cross Cancer Institute.

BALL, Leanne Ruth

August 27, 1970 — February 2, 2010 It is with deepest sorrow we announce the very sudden and unexpected passing of our dearest daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt. Leanne is survived by her husband Allan Rogers, children Janae Hawkeswood, twins Karter and Kaitlynn Rogers, mother Lorraine Ball, father and step-mother Art and Dorothy Ball, brothers Brad (Angie) Ball, Craig (Corinne) Ball, Janae’s father Keith Hawkeswood, nieces, special niece Brittany Ball-Snellen, Ila and Isabella Ball, Maegan Ball, great nephew Noah Snellen, aunts and uncles Lyla (Bruce) Wenschlag, Lynda (Bob) Belter, Jan (Brian) Ritchie, Barb (Dale) Connell, Fran (Garry) Shantz, Liz (Charlie) Gardner, Eileen Ferguson, Doug Hartnell, eleven cousins, her close childhood friends (Godmothers to her children) Sandra (Zipchen) Higham and Annette Findlay and Allan’s sister and brother-in-law Lynn and Cloyd Lowie and family. Visitation will be held Monday, February 8, 2010 between 7:00 — 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel (10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue). A celebration honoring Leanne’s life will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. At Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital or the Fire Fighters Burn Treatment Centre.

FLANAGAN, Craig Wayne

July 26, 1971 — February 1, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Craig Flanagan of Nanaimo, B.C. (formerly of Edmonton, AB). Craig is survived by his loving parents Wayne and Shirley Flanagan. Also survived by his sister Keltie (Rob), brothers Bryan (Melanie), Daryn (Cheryl), and nieces Madison and Camryn. Craig is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service celebrating Craig’s life will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Richmond Park Church 9340 — 69 Avenue, Edmonton, AB. In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made in Craig’s memory to the AB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
