FEDAN, Annie

May 27, 1922 – February 1, 2012

On February 1, 2012, Annie Fedan of Leduc, formerly of Thorsby, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 89 years.

Annie is survived by her two sons Jack (Irene) of Edmonton and Sergius (Margaret) of St. Albert. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren of Edmonton, two step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren of Morinville.

Annie was predeceased by her husband Fred in 2000 and her son Dennis in 1952.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in Thorsby at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

Donations in memory of Annie may be made to Salem Manor Nursing Home, 4419 – 46 Street, Leduc, Alberta T9E 8N9, or to the charity of one’s choice.

Reinhold Poppe passed away on February 3, 2012 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife, Else; his daughter, Doris (Fred); his son, Fred (Brenda); his grandchildren, Charlene (Don), Kristel (Darryl), Stephanie (fiancé, Josh), Mark; his two great-grandchildren, Maya and Logan.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, 9419 — 95 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.

Peacefully, on February 3, 2012, Julie Mueller passed away at the age of 76 years.
Julie is lovingly remembered by her husband Jerry, her three children: Glenn (Cherilyn), Randy and Gloria (Mike), her two granddaughters: Micaila and Jolene, her three sisters and two brothers as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Julie was predeceased by her father Walter, her mother Marie and her sister Venise.
Prayer Service and Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 11811 — 96 Street, Edmonton, AB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. also at St. Patrick’s, with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. On January 31, 2012 Victor passed away at the age of 72. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Laschowski, his nieces and nephew: Alyshia Beynon, Michael Beynon, and Andrea Beynon. He was predeceased by his father, John Laschowski, brother, Edward Laschowski, and sister, Dianna Beynon.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 9831 — 75 Street with interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Marie Louise Labbe (Hanger) passed away on February 2, 2012 at the age of 70 years. She is survived by her loving family; husband Marcel of 49 years; children: Dawna Labbe, Susan (Dean) Debiasio, Mark (Joanne) Labbe, Jill Labbe (Jeff Godun), Marcel (Lisa) Labbe and Jennifer (Mark) Becker; grandchildren: Colin, Garrett, Thomas, Daniel, Brendan, Joseph, Jessica, Alex, Ella, Evan, Ethan, Nate, Anna and Willard; mother Peggy Hanger; brothers Jim and Art Hanger; sister Sheila Tippe. Marie Louise is predeceased by her father Art Hanger Sr.
Thank you to Dr. Chrzanowski and the staff at St. Joe’s Palliative Care Unit and friends and family that have helped and supported her in the past months.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, 210 Haddow Close, Edmonton. Memorial donations in memory of Marie Louise Labbe may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Parish or St. Vincent de Paul.

JENKINS, Patrick Stanford
On February 1, 2012, Patrick suddenly went to be with his Savior at the age of 65.
He battled numerous health problems over many years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara, his sons Philip (Jennifer, Jory, Taryn) and Joshua, his daughter Tyua (David, Luke) Sereda; his father Garnet, six siblings Donna (David) Sirbasku, Sheryl Ramstad, Eunice (Jimmy) Czarneski, Daniel (Kathy), Paul (Kim), and David, and numerous nieces and nephews; and his Aunt Marge Jenkins. He was predeceased by his mother Signe Jenkins.
His life will be celebrated on February 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Leduc Community Baptist Church at 3205 Coady Boulevard, Leduc, Alberta. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Patrick’s favorite ministry: Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 20100, Calgary Place, Calgary, Alberta, T2P 4J2, Canada.

D’AMUR, Patricia Ann (nee Russell)
After a brief illness, Patricia passed
away peacefully on February 2, 2012 at
the age of 81.
She will be forever remembered by her sister Cynthia Draper, sons William (Wendy), Robert, and David, grandsons Ben, Jonathan (Melissa), Jerran, Kristopher, and Jasper, and great-granddaughter Grace.
She was an accomplished painter, avid gardener, devoted mother, sister, and aunt, and possessed a keen wit. Some of her happiest memories were of the summers she spent at her family cottage at Pigeon Lake.
A memorial will be held at Serenity Funeral Services, 5311 — 91 Street, Edmonton, on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Pat’s ashes will be scattered in accordance with her wishes. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

On February 2, 2012 Augustina “Trixie” passed away after a long illness at the age of 85.
She is survived by her sons: Danny (Cathy), Gerry, and Ritchie (Wendy); her six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; her three brothers: Tony, Bill, and Albert; and her sister, Winnie. She was predeceased by her husband, George “Happy”. Trixie’s family would like to express their overwhelming thankfulness to the staff and management at Pleasantview Seniors Lodge, the Bayshore home caregivers, the staff of Robbins Pavillion Ward 6 East and Ward 18 Transitions at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service — Edmonton South (5311 — 91 Street) with interment to follow on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the COPD & Asthma Network of Alberta (CANA).

It is with great sadness that the family of George Bidniak announces his passing on February 1, 2012 at the age of 77.
George will be lovingly remembered, greatly missed and forever loved, by his wife of 55 years, Jean; daughters, Shannon Budinski and Wendy (Grant) Taylor; grandsons, Tyler and Jake Budinski; sisters, Cecilia, Sonia, Kaye and Judy (Larry); brother, Harry (Marlene); his beloved cat Loki as well as numerous extended relatives and friends. George was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth, sister Marie, brothers-in-law George, Brian and Willie, nephew Barry; nieces, Kerri and Karen.
George had a passion for music, singing, camping, fishing, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. both to be held at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church on 9831 — 75 Street in Edmonton, AB.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Alma at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her loving family: children, Gordon (Gail), Vernon, Judy (Floyd) and Donna (Mickey), 11 grandchildren, 15 great– grandchildren and her brother Albert as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Alma is predeceased by her parents and six brothers and sisters.
