Harvey Giesbrecht, Manager
Harvey began his career in Funeral Service in Manitoba working for several privately owned firms and eventually selling his in 2009 and relocated to Edmonton. Having over 30 years experience in Funeral Service and is a proud Member of the British Institute of Embalmers. Harvey enjoys golf and hockey for pastimes, and has a daughter Laurie, and granddaughter Destiny.
Tom Dolphin, Funeral Director/Embalmer
Tom was born in Edmonton in 1957 and has been with Serenity since 2001. After a successful career in Child welfare as a Social Worker, Tom entered Funeral Service with a wealth of experience in dealing with people. Tom and his wife Diane live in Edmonton and are foster parents looking after medically fragile children.
Marvin Rust, Funeral Director
Marvin came to Serenity with considerable experience in the funeral industry. He served as a clergyman in Alberta and British Columbia for twenty-four years before leaving the ministry to become a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the Okanagan of British Columbia. As co-owner of a funeral home, Marvin has experienced the funeral industry from several advantage points; pastor, director, embalmer and owner. Marvin joined Serenity in 2009. He is married to Lorraine, his wife of forty-three years. They have three children and four grandchildren.
